THE SNEAK PREVIEW

For those of you who missed our first broker event, we had the honor to showcase to your colleagues our new 107,000 square-foot shopping center in Miami Gardens, the third largest city in Miami-Dade County. The sneak preview breakfast was held at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura and was attended by Miami Gardens Mayor Shirley Gibson, City Manager Dr. Danny O. Crew, Chief of Police Matthew Boyd and nearly two dozen city officials, reinforcing the city’s support for this much needed project.

“Miami Gardens has become a jewel in Miami-Dade County. It offers visibility and accessibility. The City has an elected body who understands economic development. We are here to be your partner.” -Mayor Gibson

Alan Macken of Macken Realty announced the unique commission structure, in which brokers receive 50% commission up front for leases. He also discussed the additional business incentive package from the city; because the retail center is in the Enterprize Zone, there are financial incentives for retailers

KEEP ON TRUCKIN

We’ve recently put our show on the road – or at least on the backs of semi-trailers – to display massive 16 x 40 foot signs promoting the shopping center to the 118,000 cars that pass by the shopping center each day. With 489 feet facing the Palmetto Expressway, and 382 feet facing 37th Avenue in Miami Gardens, our signage is quite prominent and our message quite clear. Location is everything in real estate, and we’ve got it!
