PALMETTO GARDENS PLAZA HOSTS BROKER EVENT
AT RIVALS GRILLE IN HOLLYWOOD

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (September 2, 2008) – DZD Holdings and Macken Realty recently hosted an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the Rivals Waterfront Sports Grille at the Westin Diplomat  to introduce the Palmetto Gardens Plaza team to a VIP group of brokers. During the event, guests had the opportunity to learn about the new Miami Gardens shopping center. The evening also included a brief presentation by Alan Macken of Macken Realty, the project’s exclusive leasing agent, and an announcement of new commission incentives.

A new 107,000 square-foot shopping center located at 3791 NW 167th St. in Miami Gardens, Palmetto Gardens Plaza also includes a 20,000 square foot detached out parcel, abundant parking and prominent signage for tenants. It is located right off the Palmetto Expressway, at Exit 37 and will be the largest shopping center in Miami Gardens.  

Flex space spans 1,500 to 20,000 square feet. Construction and leasing are underway. Construction is scheduled to be completed in approximately14 to 18 months. Vercon Construction is the general contractor and Behar Font & Partners is the architect. Macken Realty is the exclusive leasing agent. National City Bank provided the $19.8 million construction loan.
