Developer Resumé
Zvi Shiff and Daniel Shiff
President
and Vice President, DZD Holdings Inc.
Education/Background:
Zvi Shiff holds a bachelor’s degree in law and government
studies from The Interdisciplinary Center, Herzelia and a bachelor’s
degree in business from the College of Management, Tel-Aviv. Daniel
Shiff holds a BSC in economics from University College London (UK).
Work Experience:
Since 2003, Zvi Shiff has been in charge of scheduling, budgeting,
contract negotiations and project management for DZD Holdings Inc.
Prior to that he was a principal for the Israel-based hotel and
real estate management team, The Shiff Group. As principal he was
involved in hotel management, project design and execution, which
included financing, zoning, sales and leasing. He also served three
years in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Since 2003, Daniel Shiff has been in charge of day-to-day management
for DZD Holdings, a Miami-based investment firm focusing on commercial
real estate, residential rehabilitation and vacant land tract opportunities.
Prior to that he was with London-based Danorad LTD, where he ran
the firm’s acquisition, development and management divisions
for residential assets. While with LGI Ltd., which he founded for
the acquisition, he worked in development and management of residential
apartments in central London.
Current Projects:
Key Largo- Co-owner of a three-acre site on the ocean for future
development of 22 luxury apartments, with a focus on fractional
condominium ownership.
Delray Beach- Under contract for a six-acre ocean front site for
possible future development of 60 luxury apartments. Currently working
on zoning issues to move development forward.
Palmetto Gardens Plaza- Managing and overseeing the renovation and
development of 107,000 square feet of commercial retail space on
the Palmetto Parkway in Miami Gardens.
Recently Completed Projects:
103 Silver Blue Lakes Apartments- Multi-family complex with 239
apartments. More than $8,000,000 was invested in rebuilding, landscaping
and improvements.
Community Involvement:
The Palmetto Gardens Plaza project will be involved with the Miami
Gardens community, offering some of the first local retail options
for this working-class municipality. DZD will be working with local
school officials to hold various performing and visual arts events
at the center, beginning with a mural contest for the wraparound
construction fencing. DZD will also pay special attention to landscaping
as a beautification component for the city.
Interests/Activities:
Both Zvi and Daniel Shiff are devoted family men, with three and
two children respectively. Besides their love of sports and family
activities, they are master franchisers and franchisees for Play
n Trade, a video game franchise.
